This course will be offered remotely.Īmanda Mudge is a professional freelance artist motivated by the therapeutic use of art. Each week participants will be sent a simple creative activity to work on at home which will be followed up with a phone call from Amanda to talk through experiences. Website: 10th, 17th, 24th Sept and 1st, 8th October Creativity for Healingĭuring this five week course, Amanda will work with participants using creativity such as collage, drawing, painting and writing to help individuals work through how bereavement and loss have affected them. Using these skills she makes and illustrates creative wellbeing journals for adults and children to create safe spaces and find joy in books.

Her art work uses traditional sign painting and hand lettering to express tones of voice and emotions. Lisa Wigham is an artist who produces projects as The Two am. Participants are to bring pencils, pens, ruler, any coloured pencils or art materials they have at home to the online session. We will explore hand lettering and ways for you to personalise your book, to help express emotions and support wellbeing.
